The Fairly OddParents!: New Wishes
Now on Netflix: Thursday
First, we covered Netflix’s partnership with Nickelodeon to release a reboot of the popular Fairly OddParents series. “After moving with her parents to the city of DiMadelphia, Hazel discovers that the people living next door are magical fairy godmothers in disguise.” Series to be published in full this Thursday Read the official synopsis. The show is currently awaiting an official season 2 renewal, so Netflix’s performance could determine whether it gets any more reruns.
AP Bio (Season 1-4)
Now on Netflix: Friday
AP Bio, the comedy series adapted from NBC to Peacock, will be available in its entirety on Netflix in the US this Friday. The critically acclaimed (yet criminally under-noticed) comedy series stars the talents of Glenn Howerton, Lyric Lewis, Patton Oswalt, and Paula Pell, and stars It revolves around a Harvard University professor who has to withdraw from his usual group of higher education students. Live on Netflix at 8pm ET / 5pm PT
If you’re on the West Coast, you’ll want to get off work early. Netflix’s long-awaited first-ever live boxing event begins this Friday, with YouTuber Jake Paul stepping into the ring with one of the greatest boxers of all time, Mike Tyson. Work has already begun on the event, with a three-episode documentary series released last week.
