A Frontier Airlines jet reportedly caught fire and a tire blew out when it landed in Nevada over the weekend, but miraculously no one was injured.
The commercial plane carrying 190 passengers took off from San Diego on Saturday and flew to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
As the plane made its final approach to the runway, flames erupted from underneath the plane, smoke filled the cockpit, and pilots reported an emergency.
According to CNN, the plane then made a “hard landing” during which it suffered a “flat tire.”

A video posted to X showed the plane in flames racing out of control before coming to a halt, leaving behind a trail of smoke.
A Clark County Fire Department truck responded and sprayed the plane with water to extinguish the flames.
All passengers and crew escaped without a scratch and were safely transported to the gate area.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the cause of the accident.
