Tragedy has struck the world of entertainment and social media.
Taylor Rousseau Grigg, a popular TikTok influencer with a wide and passionate fan base, has died.
She was only 25 years old.
Social media personality husband Cameron shared the shocking news on Oct. 5 through an emotional and lengthy Instagram message.
He described the death as “sudden and unexpected” and said his spouse’s body was in the hospital for organ donation.
Other details regarding the death have not yet been released.
“None of us ever expected to have to deal with such pain and heartache, especially at our age,” Prime Minister David Cameron wrote alongside a photo of the couple.
“Over the past year, Taylor has faced more pain and suffering than most people experience in a lifetime. Despite this, she remains so cheerful and always brings joy to those around her. It was given to me.”
Back in August, Taylor addressed the health issues she was facing, telling her followers that she felt like she was “fighting for my life every day” and that she was experiencing indescribable pain. He said that he sometimes wished he had died.
At the time of her death, Taylor had amassed more than 1.4 million followers on TikTok.
Prime Minister Cameron later described his late wife as “the bravest, strongest woman I know” and said her faith helped her in “every situation she faced, even in the darkest of times.” He added, writing:
“I know she saved my life and many others.”
Taylor passed away after celebrating her 25th birthday in September.
In the video, titled “Spend My Bday with Me,” she filmed herself going out to brunch with her husband and visiting a local Target together on special occasions.
“What Taylor wants to know more than anything is that even after she’s gone, she’ll continue to save lives. And even if her earthly body lets her down, her memory… and life will be carried on forever,” Cameron continued.
Her grieving husband also wrote that Taylor “doesn’t owe anyone anything,” but that he wants everyone to know that “I’m okay and I’m not in any more pain.”
In addition to having a huge online presence, Taylor also owned online boutiques Geaux Savage and Sauvage and Beauty.
A GoFundMe has been established in her honor.
“Taylor has been in and out of the hospital since we got married, which has affected our financial situation, so we don’t have insurance,” Cameraon wrote on the fundraising page.
“I love you all. Taylor loves you all. Thank you for all your support and kind words during this time.”
