Fish (even fresh ones) are still prohibited.
‘The Reluctant Traveler’ Season 2 takes Eugene Levy to Europe – and only Europe
During season 1, reluctant traveler Eugene Levy introduced deep-seated fears of heights, insects, and the open sea as he adventured from Finland to Costa Rica and beyond, and Season 2 explores all those fears (and more) across Europe’s vast landscapes. And more!) Now, setting the entire season on her one continent was an interesting choice. In Season 1, we landed in the snowy landscapes of Scandinavia before blasting off to sun-drenched beaches and winding canyons. season 2 of reluctant traveler much less variety of scenery, and I even feel like it could have been more interesting if the premise of each season had happened in reverse. Ari Aster I can’t find it anywhere, but thankfully there appear to be 47 different species of mosquitoes. By the second season, Levi ventures into Scotland, stays in a luxury mansion in the highlands, and finally visits his mother’s birthplace., my first time in Glasgow. He shows photos of family members he didn’t even know existed and tours a house that looks nothing like the one his mother would have lived in. There, there was a bed in the kitchen and bath water shared by four children. Like most travel shows, viewers watch this show knowing they’ll probably never get a chance to visit these places, and that’s okay. But just seeing the actor walk past a hand-painted mural and gaze out onto the balcony of an Italian palace is enough to garner a few glances.
Similarly, Levi can be hesitant and irritated when trying unfamiliar foods or activities.but it also reluctant traveler. Part of the fun of this series is that the eponymous traveler is a bit of a drama queen. He’s appalled at the idea of eating octopus, thinks shitty blinds are the “definition of sadism”, and when asked to take off his shoes to walk in the mud in fashionable Germany, it’s as if you’re telling him He looks like he’s telling you to take off your clothes. A bullet comes in naked.
But most importantly, although Levy sometimes struggles with local cuisine and customs, I never feel that he is disrespecting the culture to which he is so graciously invited.. He has never claimed to be a world-class adventurer, and despite his misgivings, he has gone truffle hunting with his magical Tuscan dog Zara, tried cryotherapy, and milked Greek goats. I participate in (almost) all the opportunities that are offered to me, including doing things like doing things.

Levi watches a maypole being erected in Gammelstad and a plate broken in Milos, and experiences the thrill of watching an epic football match in Andalusia (when he is completely absorbed in the game). The quietly enthusiastic chorus of “Oh my God” might just be one of the show’s most endearing moments).
