Sony Pictures Animation is preparing a new film based on the popular 1970s cartoon, which was scheduled to hit theaters in the summer. With fall approaching, Netflix has confirmed when the film will be available in the US. Here’s what you need to know.

The film will begin in the US and then be distributed on Netflix through a first-stage deal with Sony Pictures signed in 2021, which is understood to run until at least 2025.
