While the world waits to know more, Batman – Part IIa status update for the DC sequel’s script has been clarified.
Over the weekend, Gunn was asked by a fan on the thread: “James, it was reported a while back that Matt Reeves has already written the script for Batman II. Is that true?” It didn’t take long for Gunn to set the record straight. The boss of DC Studios had this to say about this: Batman – Part II Script status:
I think that report was well-intentioned, but it was a mistake. I’m really looking forward to it.
