TMZ Hip Hop has obtained legal documents showing that Snoop asked a judge to seal his records in January 2024…the court signed off in late February, granting his motion to seal his arrest. .
The trial was big news at the time…Snoop was still a budding superstar when he was infamously arrested after a passionate performance of his hit song “Murder Was The Case” at the MTV Awards. This song was created based on the enthusiasm surrounding the suspicions. Snoop and his bodyguard were accused of fatally shooting a man in a Los Angeles park in 1993.
Snoop’s reaction to the 1996 not guilty verdict was equally dramatic…and it shaped the nature of his music and persona for years to come.
