The streamer’s reimagining of Nickelodeon’s iconic toon will debut its eight-episode first season on Thursday, February 22nd, following Anne, a young boy destined to master the elements and restore balance to a fallen world. Reintroducing the world of. (This is much more complicated than that, but you get the idea.)
As with any film adaptation this big, fans are sure to be divided. Some people will be completely satisfied with the final live-action production, while others will no doubt find something else to look forward to.
At least there’s one thing that grounds the whole thing. Avatar: The Last Airbender Any fan would agree. The Netflix series looks much better than M. Night Shyamalan’s big-screen flop. (Bonus good news: I promise you won’t hear anyone call him “ohn” this time!)
