Is Kody Brown transitioning from polygamy to monogamy? Single?
For the past few episodes of Sister Wives, viewers have been watching how the self-centered reality star deals with the emotional end of her marriage to ex-girlfriends Christine, Meri and Janelle.
Meanwhile, Kody seems to be putting his marriage to Robin in jeopardy while playing the victim and feeling sorry for himself.
The only woman brave and stupid enough to stay by Kody’s side openly wonders if she’s stupid for doing so.
In response to speculation about Robin and Cody’s union status, E! This week, the News spoke to two women who are lucky enough to no longer have to deal with the father of a 17-year-old child.
For example, Christine told the magazine about Kody and Robyn, “I think they’re going to be okay,” and quickly dismissed talk of an impending divorce.
Janelle agrees with this sentiment.
“I actually feel like that’s probably the dynamic in a normal couple relationship,” she told E! With all the trouble between spouses that TLC fans have witnessed lately.
It’s important to remember two things here.
The first is that producers constantly edit content for ratings and drama.
TWO, Sister Wives season 19 was filmed over a year ago. So the tension playing out on screen could possibly be old news between Kody and Robin.
“You mean three divorces in two years?” Christine also told E! About her ex-boyfriend and the love of his life.
“So their relationship is probably going to change your dynamic as a person, so there’s going to be some things that you need to understand. But no… I’m sure they’ll be great together.” .”
On the recent season premiere, Kody admitted, “Robin and I are in a really tough spot,” but Robin added, “Robin and I are in a really tough spot.”
“We’re probably going through the worst thing we’ve ever done in our marriage. It’s been tough. Things have been tough between us.”
After splitting from his third wife Christine in November 2021, Kody separated from his second wife Janelle Brown in December 2022.
His first wife, Meri Brown, confirmed in January 2023 that their marriage had ended after more than 30 years together.
“He doesn’t know whether to blame himself or the other wife,” Robin explained in the same season premiere. “Kody feels so rejected. So I think he looks at me like, ‘Are you going to reject me too?’ I stand on my toes. I always have to make sure he is not interfering with our relationship. ”
In other words, I’ll say it again…it’s all about Kody Brown.
“Robin and Cody are not doing well. They were very unhappy… [and] Things are getting worse,” a source previously told The Sun, adding:
“Robin has no intention of staying unless things change. That’s exactly what happened. Their marriage cannot sustain this kind of control.
“She is not going to raise her children in the same volatile and angry state that her other children were raised in.
“Kody is becoming a mirror image.” [ex-husband] David. She took the children away from him and took away his parental control. Do you think she will stay here for this? no. “
