Raquel Welch’s most cherished items, including costumes, prizes and memorabilia, are being auctioned off.
Julien’s Auctions will present an exclusive collection, “Bombshell: The Raquel Welch Collection,” on April 12th in Los Angeles.
Welch rose to international stardom in the ’60s thanks to her roles in films. 1 million years BC, wonderful voyage and I was surprisedpassed away at the age of 82 in February last year after a short illness. She was also known for her amazingly photogenic features.

Julien’s will be auctioning off more than 500 items from her iconic films and television shows, including the one for which she won the 1974 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical. Also on display will be a plaque on the Hollywood Walk of Fame from its 1996 dedication ceremony and a 2018 Mercedes-Benz SL 550 convertible that is estimated at auction at $70,000 to $100,000.

Also up for auction are Welch’s bespoke ensembles from some of her favorite designers, including Bob Mackie, Norma Kamali and Givenchy, which she has worn at Hollywood events ranging from the Academy Awards to fashion shows.
Several pieces of jewelry will also be on sale, including her diamond and 14K gold wedding ring (estimated auction price: $10,000-$20,000), a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust stainless steel and gold watch, and various Tiffany pieces.
The auction will also be held online at Julien’s Auctions. Select items will be featured in a Europe-only public exhibition at the Museum of Style Icons in Newbridge, Ireland, starting February 23rd.
