There are 104 more As the long-awaited revival of “Phineas and Ferb” approaches reality, it’s only a few days into summer vacation on record. Co-creators and executive producers Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh revealed more about the future, including who else from the cast of the original animated series will be returning, during a panel discussion Thursday at New York Comic Con. was planning to share more information about the revival.
Joining Povenmire and Marsh on stage at Comic-Con were two of the series’ namesakes, Vincent Martella (who played Phineas Flynn) and David Errigo Jr. (who played original star Thomas Brodie-Sang in 2020). He took over the role of Ferb Fletcher from Starr. . Also starring are Ashley Tisdale as Candice Flynn, Caroline Rhea as Linda Flynn-Fletcher, Dee Bradley Baker as Perry the Platypus, and Alyson Stoner as Isabella Garcia-Shapiro. Povenmire, of course, is the voice of Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, and Marsh is Major Francis Monogram. Disney also promises a guest cast lineup that includes “notable actors, musicians, athletes, and more.”
The producers and cast will reunite for the first time in years on stage at New York Comic Con, and also offer a sneak peek of the new season of Phineas and Ferb, which will return to Disney Channel and Disney+ in 2025.
According to Disney, “The new season of Phineas and Ferb will follow the inventive stepbrothers as they tackle another 104 days of summer. While he continues to lead a double life as the kind-hearted Agent P, whose sole mission is to stop Dr. Fenshmirtz from taking over the Tri-State area, he becomes more determined than ever to finally capture his brothers. At the recent D23 convention, Povenmire and Marsh shared a video for their Season 5 song “Summer Is Starting Right Now,” featuring a mix of returning writers and new writers who grew up on the show, including an actress. Olivia Olson, who plays Vanessa Doofenshmirtz in the series, which was revealed to be made up of a mixture.
It was first announced in January 2023 that the animated show would be returning for 40 episodes. During its original run, Phineas and Ferb produced approximately 126 episodes on Disney Channel (and later Disney XD) from 2008 to 2015, as well as specials and films such as Phineas and Ferb: “Beyond Dimensions” was also produced. ” (2011) and “Phineas and Ferb: The Movie: Candace Against the Universe” (2020).
