Netflix has added five more cast members to its splashy new film adaptation of Emily Henry’s novel “People We Meet on Vacation,” with production starting in Barcelona and set to move to New Orleans in the coming weeks.
Netflix was first announced on August 2nd this year. People you meet on holidaywas first released to the public in October 2022. It is produced by 3000 Pictures (a division of Sony Pictures), which has a first-look deal with Netflix.
Brett Haley Directing the new film, Yulin Quan Behind the screenplay. Keegan DeWitt He has participated in projects as a composer so far. All the bright spotsand Rob Givens (Gotham Knights) will serve as director of photography.
The logline for the new film reads, “Free-spirited Poppy and routine-loving Alex have been unlikely best friends for ten years, spending every summer together despite living in different cities. The careful balance of their friendship is tested when they begin to question what seems obvious to everyone else: can they really be the perfect romantic pairing?”

In production People you meet on holiday is scheduled to wrap up in November 2024, and will likely be released sometime in 2025.
