Welcome to our weekly roundup of the top 10 biggest stories by hour on Netflix that dropped for the week ending September 29, 2024. Every Tuesday, Netflix updates its Top 10 stats page with new hourly numbers for 40 of the past seven top movies and shows. Here we break down the biggest news in our Top 10 report. It’s had some middling launches for a documentary, a pretty strong launch for a big new romantic series on Netflix, and plenty more, so let’s take a closer look.
Note: This report on Netflix viewing hours from September 23, 2024 to September 29, 2024 uses “Complete View Equivalents” (CVE), expressed in millions. In other words, divide the viewing time announced by Netflix by the running time of the movie or series. This allows you to better compare movies and series, but it is not an indicator of audience. Minimum number of views from the first two seconds to the end of a movie or season.

Let’s start with Korean movies and then watch foreign movies. officer black belt ” got off to a strong start in the charts, earning over 27.5 million CVE in its first 14 days, ranking it among Netflix’s top 10 foreign movie openings of 2024. Together with Badland Hunters, this is the second film to ever make it into the top 10 of the year in Asia.
2. Jailbreak: Love on the Run
This was a fitting opening for the documentary Jailbreak: Love on the Run, which hit a record high with 76 million CVEs in the first five days. This was a good start for the romantic series Nobody Wants This, which earned 10.3 million CVE in the first four days. 5. Ellen DeGeneres’ new comedy special has an average approval rating.
Ellen DeGeneres’ return to the stage won’t make a big splash after a scandal over her management style on the set of the TV show Ellen. Just 2.4 million views in six days is in line with the average for other celebrities doing stand-up on Netflix in 2024, but far behind newcomers like Matt Rife.
6. Creatures of Keijo It’s working very well in terms of returns.
Although this is very rare and noteworthy, Season 2 of Keijo Creatures got off to a better start than Season 1A, with the series gaining fans since its initial release and fans who were rushing to watch Season 2. I have proven that I am. is on the card!
7. Bangkok Breaking breaks out.
