December is almost upon us, and quite a few Netflix originals are set to end, mainly because Netflix is shutting down its interactive special library. This, in addition to other Netflix originals, Voltron: Legendary Defender and Meteor Garden Depart throughout the month.
Now, we’re working on some new things behind the scenes to help you with this, so you can get Netflix Originals listed faster. To that end, last week we published an overview of the more than 90 Netflix originals currently scheduled to end distribution in 2025.
20 Interactive Specials Ending December 1st
As we reported earlier this week, Netflix plans to ax 20 of its interactive specials as it continues to move away from the interactive format it first debuted (two had already been pulled by December; Only four remain after the purge). Netflix will end worldwide on December 1st
All 49 episodes of the Chinese romantic comedy series will be leaving Netflix on July 13, 2018, six years after it was added to the global streamer. Quite a few people around the world are surprised to find out that this series is leaving Netflix. Streamers and rebingers suggest it has considerable reach since it was added years ago.
Starring Shen Yue, Dylan Wang, and Darren Chen, the series follows a young girl who gets into her dream university and quickly finds a group of friends who are high achievers.
Prince of Tennis ~Game! Tennis Junior~
Leaving Netflix on December 4th
Based on Xu Fei Gang’s hit manga series, another Chinese live-action series stars Peng Yuchang, Dong Li, and Zhang Yijie, telling the story of a genius who defies all odds to become an exceptional tennis player. It will start in December. The series will leave Netflix four years after its initial release, with all 40 episodes initially available on December 4, 2019.

“Let’s Dance” joins a long list of French movies that have been removed from Netflix. This is a musical drama series about a hip-hop dancer who becomes a teacher at a top ballet school, pursues a different career, and falls in love there. with one of his students. Adding insult to injury on DreamWorks’ takedown front are all eight seasons of Voltron: Defender. We’ve been very careful about this removal, but now we’re seeing an exit notice within the Netflix app, and Voltron’s official Instagram account claims that negotiations are taking place. The chances of it being canceled are very low.
Released for eight seasons from 2016 to 2018, the children’s series follows five unlikely heroes and their flying robot lion who unite to form the mighty Voltron and protect the universe from evil. I am drawing.
Twelve Years’ Night / La Noche De 12 Anos
Leaving Netflix on December 28th
First added to Netflix on December 28, 2018, this military drama from director Alvaro Brechner follows José Mujica and other political prisoners as they survive 12 years of solitary confinement.
That’s all for December 2024. However, all of them will be released on December 31st, except for the recently released Kids Playlist.
