We have received an update on the surprising and tragic death of Liam Payne.
The former One Direction singer fell from a hotel balcony in Argentina on October 16, leaving behind his 7-year-old son and a host of questions.
Chief among them, sadly, was Liam Payne really just that? autumn?
Many observers can’t help but suspect that Mr. Payne committed suicide because recordings of the 911 calls made before his death have been made public.
“Hello, good morning. When I called you earlier, the line was disconnected. I’m calling you. [from] In audio obtained by The Sun UK and La Nación, the hotel manager can be heard saying in Spanish: Costa Rica 6032, Palermo’s Casasul Hotel.
“We have a guest who’s drunk on drugs and alcohol. And, well, when he’s conscious, he’s destroying the whole room. So, I’d like you to send someone over, please.”
The manager emphasized to the 911 operator that Payne had been staying at the hotel for a few days at this point.
“I’d like to send someone urgently, but I don’t know if this guest’s life is in danger. He needs to be in a room with a balcony. So, we need him to do something. I’m a little worried that I might endanger my life.”
There are also some small stories like this.
Pablo Polisicchio, head of communications at the Buenos Aires Ministry of Security, said in a statement to The Associated Press.I jumped off the balcony of my room.”
He said local authorities rushed to the hotel after receiving an emergency call just after 5pm local time, alerting them to an “aggressive man who may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol”.
Photos of Payne’s hotel room released by Buenos Aires police showed a broken television.
Police are investigating the circumstances of death and conducting an autopsy.
To be clear, it has not been confirmed whether Payne intentionally jumped. This is just speculation at this point.
As various celebrities reacted to his death, Payne’s family said in a statement to Britain’s PA media news agency:
“We are heartbroken. “Liam will live forever in our hearts and we will never forget his kind, funny and brave soul.” We are supporting each other as much as we can as a family and are asking for privacy and space during this terrible time.”
Payne has been in Argentina since at least the beginning of this month…he attended former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan’s concert at Buenos Aires’ Movistar Arena on October 2 with girlfriend Kate Cassidy. It’s time.
Payne has a seven-year-old son, Bear Gray, with former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl.
Elsewhere, The X Factor UK paid tribute to a late star following his sudden death.
“We are heartbroken by the sad passing of Liam Payne,” the statement said on Twitter on Thursday, October 17. “He was an extremely talented man and as a member of One Direction, Liam is one of “He will leave a lasting legacy for his fans.” all over the world. ”
The message was posted alongside a black and white photo of Liam Payne.
“Our thoughts are with his friends, family and all who loved him,” the statement concluded.
