Those people are now firmly in the past. But when Janelle opens up about her “short-lived” first marriage; sister wife Fans are scratching their hands.

Wait, Janelle married Meri Brown’s brother?
In 1988, Janelle Brown married Meri Brown’s brother Adam Barber at an LDS temple in Salt Lake City.
Recent guest spot real life On the podcast, Janelle opened up to host Kate Casey about her ill-fated marriage.
“It was very, very short-lived,” Janelle Brown began. she’s right. The two broke up in 1990.
As the podcast interview continued, Janelle Brown characterized their former relationship as a “fledgling marriage.”
She admitted, “I think we may have physically lived together and actually lived together for six months.”
Janelle then went on to explain that her marriage to Meri Brown’s brother was something she “just couldn’t accept.”

How did Janelle end up with Meri’s husband after marrying Meri Brown’s brother?
In 1990, Kody Brown married Meri. It was the same year that Janelle and Adam officially divorced.
“Meri introduced us when we met Kodi in passing,” Janelle explained on the podcast.
She admitted: There was a certain feeling. It’s like, “Oh, there you are.” ”
In 1993, due to our country’s discriminatory marriage laws, Janelle ended up marrying Kody Brown, albeit undocumented.
(As bad as Kody Brown is, it’s good to remember that there are a lot of great people who are not egomaniacs or cultists and are in plural marriages. TLC didn’t give them a show because… Because it’s not interesting to see four loving partners living their lives (normal lives).
That marriage lasted quite a while…but like all of Kody’s marriages (with the exception of Robyn), it didn’t last long.

‘Sister Wives’ fans don’t know how to feel
Many Sister Wives fans on social media tasked Janelle with marrying Meri Brown’s brother, albeit indirectly. and With my husband within 5 years.
Some suggested that Meri may have introduced the two. Also, the Mormon community that actively participates in the polygamous lifestyle is small enough that people tend to know each other. If the dating pool is small, some overlap may occur.
Either way, this is a tricky detail. Especially since Janelle and Meri can’t stand each other these days.
