What is that documentary about?
This documentary explores the events leading up to, during and after the Spain Women’s National Team’s journey to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, including the controversial Rubiales incident during the Women’s World Cup final between Spain and England. is involved.

The documentary will also feature first-hand accounts from the Spanish women’s national soccer team, told by coach Joanna Pardos.

What was it about the incident that made it so controversial?
After defeating the Lionesses (England Women’s Team) in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup final, the Spanish women’s national football team was very close to lifting the trophy. During the ceremony, Luis Rubiales, then president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, forcibly kissed Jenni Hermoso on the lips without her consent.

But in a speech a few days later, Mr. Rubiales denied he had done anything wrong, only adding to the controversy. This led to the entire Spanish team withdrawing their names from selection, several members of the RFEF to resign, and sparking outrage on social media.
It didn’t take long for the RFEF to suspend Rubiales from football.
