Janelle Brown is doing her best to move forward with her life.
After the most personal tragedy imaginable.
As previously reported, Janelle is in the process of selling her late son’s home … nearly six months after Garrison Brown took his own life with a gun.
Now, the veteran Sister Wives cast member has announced that she’s launching a new floral business with her daughter, Madison “Maddie” Brush.
“We are so excited to finally share our passion project, TAEDA FARMS, with all of you!” Janelle wrote on Instagram on Sunday, September 22.
“We want you to join us on this wild, messy, beautiful journey as we build Taeda Farms from the ground up.
“It’s not all glamorous – there’s sweat, mud and lots of learning along the way – but every step gets us closer to something really special.
“We’re turning hard work and heart into something beautiful, and we want you to be a part of it all.”
As you can see above, Janelle is already selling merchandise (in the form of t-shirts) to accompany the initiative.
the TLC personality continued.
“Follow us on social media @taedafarms and watch us grow, one flower at a time. If you want to support us as we get started, we have t-shirts with our brand motto: ‘Building Beauty from the Ground Up.'”
“We put a lot of thought into them and they represent everything this journey means to us.
“Let’s grow together!”
Back in March, we learned (via a report from In Touch Weekly ) that Janelle had purchased a 156-acre estate in Chocowinity, North Carolina.
According to documents obtained by the tabloid, the expansive trail was registered as farmland to Taeda Farms, LLC.
The business first appeared on Instagram in April with three images featuring the brand’s motto and name and encouraging fans to “stay tuned.”
The company’s website has since been updated to include stores where the T-shirts can be purchased, as well as information about Taeda Farms and its owners.
“Taeda Farms’ mission is to build beauty from the ground up, transforming our land into a sanctuary where every flower and every leaf tells a story. Taeda Farms will be more than just a venue, it will be a community haven where people can come together and reconnect with nature and each other,” the website states.
“We strive to create an enchanting space that fosters joy, love and everlasting memories, allowing you to celebrate life’s most beautiful moments every time you visit our farm.”
Janelle has spoken openly about Garrison’s suicide since it happened.
“We had no idea that he was in that situation,” Janelle told People magazine in early September, adding that “substance abuse” likely contributed to his mental state before his death, “but he never showed any signs of extreme sadness.”
Brown said that toward the end of his life, Garrison was in touch with loved ones, had a cat and was “very excited” about his career prospects.
ah.
The grieving mother concluded in this interview:
“It was a total shock. I never expected anything like this.”
