The San Antonio Spurs shared an update Wednesday, saying Popp experienced a medical scare at the team’s Frostbank Center on Nov. 2.
The statement said Pop had already started a rehabilitation program in the days following his stroke and it is strongly believed he will be back to 100%, but a timetable for his return has not yet been set.
“The organization would like to thank the broader community for providing privacy and space to the Popovich family during this time,” Spurs said.
As previously reported, he is 75 years old. damaged one’s health problem before the Spurs’ home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves…but details about what happened were not disclosed at the time.
