The weather reporter revealed in an Instagram post on September 25 that he was traveling to Florida to begin reporting on Helen. It also issued a warning to residents of Tennessee, Georgia, western South Carolina, and western North Carolina.
Ginger later posted a selfie video talking about the storm. She also warned people in neighboring states to be prepared. “I can’t stress enough that this is not just a Florida storm,” she said.
