Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood have pulled out all the stops to open Friends in Low Place Bar & Honky Tonk. This bar is named after one of the singer’s most iconic songs.

Opening a high-end bar or restaurant is hard work
As for the rest of the cast, we’ll see Garth Brooks’ touring team team up with Strategic Hospitality Group. Brothers Benjamin and Max Goldberg are the brothers behind the recent rapid growth of Nashville’s dining scene, so they will be overseeing the hospitality situation at Friends in Low Place.
Jenny Desridge Blatt and Camille Tambanting, both strategic hospitality veterans, will be directly overseeing the build-out.
“If you’re one of the lucky people to come to this city and receive its many blessings, don’t you owe Nashville something?” Brooks proposed before speaking of himself in the third person. “Garth Brooks is very grateful to Music City.”
At 54,715 square feet, the facility will be the largest on Broadway.
With space for live music and dancing, the bar’s “classic honky-tonk” tone definitely feels right at home in Nashville. For some, it’s sensory hell. But for others, that’s a big part of the appeal.
