Lawyers for Sean “Diddy” Combs filed a motion Tuesday seeking the identity of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ accuser in a sex trafficking case.
In a letter to a Manhattan federal judge, Combs’ lawyers argued that they needed to know the names of the alleged victims in order to prepare for his trial on May 5, 2025.
“This lawsuit is a lawsuit against Mr. Combs because of his celebrity status, wealth, and publicity for previously settled lawsuits and grand jury leaks and false and inflammatory statements made by DHS officials.” The letter was signed by Combs’ attorneys Mark Agnifilo and Tennie Geragos and shared with: varietyis read. “This has had far-reaching ramifications, resulting in a plethora of allegations by unidentified accusers, ranging from false to completely absurd.”
The letter notes that six additional sexual assault lawsuits were filed against Combs by anonymous accusers on Monday. “Lawyers for these accusers recently held a press conference to represent 120 accusers who have made outrageous and highly prejudicial allegations, including violent sexual assault and sexual abuse of minors. ,” Combs’ attorney said in Tuesday’s motion. “The promotion, broadcast on Instagram, included a ‘1-800’ number and reportedly received 12,000 calls in the first 24 hours.”
The lawyers continued: “These charges come on the heels of more than a dozen previously filed and currently pending lawsuits, some of which have already been discredited, including Mr. Combs. after irreparably damaging his character and reputation.” These swirling allegations have caused a hysterical media frenzy and, if left unchecked, will irrevocably deprive Mr. Combs of his rights, if he has not already received a fair trial. . ”
