Diddy claims there was no evidence of “cheating” in the video, but rather a “domestic dispute that resulted in him running through the hotel hallway to retrieve his clothes and cell phone.”
Regarding some of the violence depicted in the video, Didi said he did not “drag” Kathy into the hallway or throw a vase at her. He claims he just threw the contents of the vase at Kathy.
He said the video was actually just a “sad glimpse into a 10-year consensual relationship” and not evidence of forced perversion or sex trafficking.
Diddy’s overall argument is that prosecutors are trying to make him appear more dangerous than he actually is, so the judge will keep him in custody until trial.
