Now streaming on Hulu (just in time to watch it with grandma over Thanksgiving!), the success of the latest sequel proves just how much fans love the series. ‘Alien: Romulus’ reveals what happened to the Xenomorph in ‘Alien’

The ending stuck landing as Weaver’s Ripley, the sole survivor, has to fight the Xenomorph one last time. Initially, Scott was going to kill the last girl right then and there, but thankfully she survived and shot the creature out of the airlock…or so we thought.

What happened on the Nostromo is mentioned in the wreckage of another ship, the Renaissance, where a rebooted android named Luke narrates the story. The Xenomorph, thought to be dead, is brought aboard the Renaissance, but all aboard the ship are killed.. Luke is not just an android, he is the same model as the original Ash alien. Ash was played by Ian Holm He played Ash in the 1979 film, but after the actor passed away in 2020, the filmmakers received permission from his family to build a CGI version of the character that looked exactly like Ash.

As the camera zooms in, a defiant and furious Ripley yells, “Get away from her, you bitch!” in Alien: Romulusthey just couldn’t help themselves. Rain’s surrogate younger brother is an android named Andy (david johnson). In one scene, Andy repeats this line, first saying, “Get away from her,” and then, after a moment, saying, “You bitch.” It really can’t get any more on the nose.
The ending of ‘Alien: Romulus’ is reminiscent of past movies
Contains plenty of melty Easter eggs Alien: Romulus. The big one is black goo, a pathogen known as Z-01. prometheusa movie that takes place decades before the events of . alien. On the Renaissance, Weyland-Yutani scientists were working with black goo in the laboratory.and getting it back became David’s reprogrammed mission. In the end, Rain gives it to Kei (Isabella Merced). Kei, who is mortally injured, injects Z-01 to heal the wound. It works, but with dire consequences.
The black goo mutates, and in the shocking final scene, Kei gives birth to a terrifying human-alien hybrid. This begins a battle between Rain and a giant creature known as the Offspring, giving the film two more callbacks. First, in the same way alienRain wears the exact same spacesuit that Ripley wears when she fights the Xenomorph at the end of the movie. The Offspring resembles the alien-human hybrids seen in the movies. Alien: Resurrectiona xenomorph queen gives birth to an alien who is part xenomorph and part Ripley clone genetics. This leads her to see Ripley as her mother. descendants of Alien: Romulus This is a more frightening design, but just the same Alien: Resurrectionit will be sucked into space until it diesalthough not in such a disgusting way.
I’m sure there will be more alien movies. As long as we keep paying, Hollywood will happily keep producing more. This is what it will look like in a few years Alien: Romulus Used as an homage to form a new sequel.
