There’s never a bad time to check out action thriller movies. That’s why Collider is excited to share an exclusive trailer from Brainstorm Media. Released in November this year, 72 hoursmovie starring Sam Trammell (true blood) and Come the Giant (Magnificent Seven) as brothers on opposite sides of the law. The film is scheduled for simultaneous release in theaters and on demand on November 1st. The official logline reads:
“Two brothers, one an FBI agent and the other an international money launderer, put aside their differences in status and band together to save their family and take on a dangerous mission deep within the territory of the central figure.” Track the extraction.
In the story, Alex (Gigandet) and Sebastian (Trammell) have more than a hostile purpose to the law. Alex is running an international cryptocurrency money laundering scheme for a crime lord, while Sebastian is an FBI agent who has no idea about his brother’s shady dealings. Everything changes when Sebastian sees Alex during a mission, but he turns a blind eye and lets his brother escape. The problem is that the situation gets even worse when other people get involved.
After Alex tries to double cross Ty Rebello (pearson fodé), the crime lord quickly shows he’s not fooling around and kidnaps the man’s daughter. Sebastian then decides to put his family first, putting aside their differences and working with his brother to save his niece. The two decide to gather the best of the best and form a rescue team to fight fire with fire. The trailer makes it clear that it will not be an easy mission, but it will be a thrilling journey for those of us on the other side of the screen.
Who is the “72 Hours” team?
72 hours is supervised by Christian Sesmapreviously directed other action-thriller films such as: lights out starring frank grillo (Purge: Anarchy), Section 8 starring dolph lundgren (aquaman and the lost kingdom), and take back starring mickey rourke (iron man 2). So it’s safe to say that Sesma has a pretty strong influence on the genre. The filmmaker also co-wrote the script. 72 hours and was hired Sean Crane (day labor) Please help him write the script.
Brainstorm Media CEO in an official statement Michelle Blackstein “There’s a lot to be excited about, including dynamic action, a great cast, and a unique take on a classic premise that audiences will love,” he teased. Additionally, Sesma herself revealed that she is excited for people to see her new work.
