Things got really ugly between Briana Chick-Fry and Zach Bryan.
As previously reported, the country singer ended their relationship of about a year and a half late last month, shocking the podcast host.
Now, Barstool Spot employees claim that there was something seriously wrong with this relationship long before it ended.
Briana said on the podcast she co-hosts with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards:
“The last year of my life was the most difficult of my life dealing with the abuse from this man.
“I’m still scared because I’m scared of him.
“My brain was rewired and I was too scared to talk about it last week because I was scared of upsetting him.”
Brianna didn’t go into specific details, but she didn’t hold back either.
Regarding the allegations of abuse on air, she said that she had repeatedly “chastised you, slammed you down, and apologized over and over again,” adding:
“There was always another excuse as to why he treated me so badly and why I cried myself to sleep every night.
“Why do you wake up when he’s yelling at me? It’s an apology and it’s like, ‘I’m going to be better because I need you in my life,’ but what if? If you’ve experienced this, I don’t expect people to understand that if you’ve never experienced emotional abuse.
“I hope I never have to go through it, but if you’ve been there, you know what I’m talking about.”
On October 22, Brian announced on his Instagram Story that he had “broken up” with Brianna, emphasizing that he still had “respect and love” for his ex, writing:
“I will always be grateful to her because she has loved me unconditionally for a long time. I’ve had a very tough year personally and struggled with some pretty tough things as well. ”
This may have been a reference to the pro-Kanye, anti-Taylor Swift posts that led Brian to flee Twitter.
Brian also claimed that women with whom he had previous relationships were forced to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to prevent them from publicly discussing their experiences with him.
She said the artist offered her $12 million along with an apartment in New York to “not talk about the relationship.”
“At the end of the day, I’m not the people I was before, I was the person before you, and you’re asking the women before me to extort money from you, cancel their experiences, sign made us believe we had no choice. We forgot what they went through,” Brianna said.
“Skip and sing your little song on stage and act like you’re a good guy. You start treating the people around you like shit. I’m sorry, but I’m not like them.” No, I don’t need your money.
“I don’t want to buy a shitty house two years from now and be like, ‘Oh, this is money from a literal piece of shit — money from a guy who destroyed me for a year and bankrupted me.'”
At this point, Briana said she decided to open up about her supposed abuse “for the sake of other people who have been emotionally abused and are currently experiencing emotional abuse.” Ta.
She concluded on the podcast:
“The reason I was lucky enough to go through this is for people who don’t have a support system.
“This is not a drama for me, it’s not like I’m not going to sign an NDA or not take the money because I want to get in here and expose who he is and all that.
“I’m not going to give up my experiences and experience to protect someone who hurt me. I’m much stronger than a weak man, damn you, damn your money too.”
