Is this the same Daredevil as the Netflix series?
To all the fans who watched the last program, defender Saga wants nothing more than the return of his favorite Daredevil. However, the more discerning observers she hulk This Matt Murdock doesn’t seem to be acting the same way as the Matt Murdock we used to know. While not completely different, the tone of the show is quite different.
Charlie Cox recently answered some of these questions for us. A recent interview helped provide some answers. Cox commented on these tonal changes, saying he “had a really fun time” finding out how Daredevil fits into this new world. That could mean this version of Daredevil is the same as the one we previously saw him on the Netflix show. Here is Charlie Cox’s full statement in response to the question.
“That’s how it should be, always the same character. Differences are like humans, we change and are very different depending on what’s going on in our lives. Matt Murdock from the Netflix show, That World, And what happened? Matt’s appearance on the show meant that he spent most of his time living with men who were under a lot of pressure and tension, and the atmosphere of the show was very dark and gritty. I don’t know what the new show will be like, but when I came to do Spider-Man and She-Hulk, the tone was more light-hearted, more tongue-in-cheek, fun and witty. It was full of levity and there was hope that Matt could fit into that world and be a part of it, not just another character or another person, but explore it and experiment with it and see it come together. We had a really fun time finding out.”
marvel producer brad winderbaum In an interview with ScreenRant, he stated that he sees Daredevil as part of the MCU’s divine timeline. Winderbaum said:

This show is definitely a reboot and we shouldn’t assume all previous canons are happening in this world. Matt Murdock is playing the Daredevil persona, but Charlie Cox has confirmed that this is Season 1, not Season 4, and has hinted that some aspects of the character may be revisited or rewritten next. It is suggested as follows.
“We might end up telling some stories over and over again. Just like they sometimes do in the comics you know, they go back to the beginning of Murdoch’s journey as a boy and Retelling the whole origin story. So maybe it can be done. I don’t know.
Again, this is before the show was rewritten, so things may have changed. We’ll have to see how much of the original show’s DNA is carried over. be reborn.
