Bobby may have retired from his job with the LAFD, but that doesn’t mean he’s done. 9-1-1 In the season 8 premiere, he stayed with his job as a firefighter and got a job in television production. Hot Shotis a silly fake firefighter show that indirectly allows him to achieve his dream. A new preview from TV Fanatic gives us a sneak peek at Bobby’s new job, and as expected, it doesn’t go smoothly. The show is silly and the leadership is annoying.
In this video, the fire chief arrives at the scene of a high-rise fire and the situation becomes tense. He starts shouting orders and the rest of the firefighters get to work. However, An accident occurs when the captain is pinned by another firefighter holding a hose. He breaks character and is revealed to be an Australian (or British) actor in an American production, as happens all the time in TV, and the director notices something is wrong with the way the scene is blocked, but doesn’t know how it’s done.
The secretary calls in the advisors and they bring in the big names. Bobby walked onto the set and the first thing he said was that the production team didn’t seem to know the basics of the firefighter hierarchy. Bobby is good at putting out fires, so he tells the director what went wrong and fixes the scene. He’s feeling very generous and suggests revising the lines. “We’ll do the lines. You just have to loosen up this bit,” the director responds. There’s not just one thing that needs loosening up, but Bobby isn’t getting paid enough for all this so he stays in his job.
and Hot Shot Storyline, 9-1-1 The idea is to poke fun at the show itself and other shows related to the fire service, and someone always has some criticism for fire service shows, but they decided to do it themselves. Hot Shot It is set in the LAFD. 9-1-1the station is 119. But despite these similarities, Bobby isn’t impressed: “It’s a silly firefighter TV show,” says the showrunner. Tim Minear He previewed Bobby’s storyline to Entertainment Weekly, saying, “Bobby’s totally over it. He’s not attracted to Hollywood or anything like that.” He finds the whole affair incredibly boring and ridiculous.“
In progress Hot Shot Bobby fights to get his job back at 911, but it may be too late. “Bobby just wants his job back. But, you know, [Gerrard] “He already has the position and there are no other fire stations open for him to serve as captain,” Minier said.
