The BBC, ZDF and France Télévision have signed The Lady Grace Mysteries, an English-language teen detective series based on the best-selling children’s novel collection of the same name.
The show is produced by Cottonwood Media (“Find Me in Paris”) and Coolabi Productions, a Daytime Emmy-nominated company whose credits include Netflix’s “Free Rein” and CBBC’s “A Kind of Spark.” Written by author Anna McCreary. BYU and Channel 4’s “Hollyoaks.”
The Lady Grace Mysteries collection has sold 300,000 books worldwide. This live-action show for ages 8 to 12 follows Lady Grace Caven, a female detective who works as Elizabeth I’s personal spy and navigates the treacherous waters of royal politics in the intrigue-filled English court. Federation Kids & Family and ZDF Studios are handling worldwide sales for the series. Manon Ardison, Head of Fiction at Cottonwood Media, and lead director Alexander Jacob, Managing Director at Cottonwood Media, will produce the show.
