With no box office pressure and deep pockets, many big-name stars have joined the OTT bandwagon in the post-COVID-19 era.
Some of the most famous names include Ajay Devgn, Shahid Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Kajol, Vidya Balan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Emraan Hashmi.
But one family that collectively made the transition to OTT stardom stands out: the Royal Nawabi Pataudi family.
Saif Ali Khan started this change with his roles in Sacred Games and Hotstar film Bhoot Police. Currently, he is engaged in another of his OTT venture, Jewel Thief.
His wife Kareena Kapoor also made her OTT debut with Netflix’s Jaanejaan and is actively pursuing more projects in the OTT space.
Their daughter Sara Ali Khan has already made a name for herself with several OTT films like ‘Atrangi Re’ and ‘Gaslight’, ‘Mubarak Murders’ and Karan Johar’s ‘E Watan Mere’.・Watan” and other appearances are also planned.
Saif’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan is also all set to make his debut as a leading man in the OTT realm alongside Khushi Kapoor in a project titled ‘Naadaniyan’.
Saif’s brother-in-law Kunal Kemmu has also contributed immensely to the OTT landscape with films and web series like Lootcase and Pop Kaun.
Completing the family roster, Saif’s sister Soha Ali Khan has been part of OTT projects such as Prime Video’s Hush Hush.
It seems like the entire Pataudi family has lost hope in theatrical films and turned their attention completely towards OTT.
