Ah, Thanksgiving. A time when loved ones gather together with food, cozy sweaters, and killer turkeys…for some of us who aren’t weirdos, it might be the last time. There have been a few Thanksgiving horror movies over the years, ranging from cheesy slashers. blood rage to Eli RothRecent Slasher Crime Syndicate thanksgiving. Still, Christmas and Halloween remain popular holidays for horror movies. But in terms of turkey day scares, it’s still the perfect entree for horror hounds. Of course, this would be the infamous 2008 movie. Thank you I’ll kill you.
Designed on a limited budget, jordan downey‘s produced by the university Thank you I’ll kill you This is a film abnormality. The movie offers a Thanksgiving Day buffet for $3,500. Excessive cheesy gore, weird puppetry, and very dated jokes. It’s everything a fan of the ridiculous cult classic could want, and is much loved from a horror-schlock perspective set in November. The “bad but good” appeal doesn’t work for everyone. However, fans of over-the-top, outrageous horror comedies will love it. “Thankskilling” white meat and dark meat
When the movie opens with a pointless topless scene that adds absolutely nothing to the story; The audience must be aware of what terrible things they are going through.. Thank you I’ll kill you Follow Kristen (lindsay anderson), Johnny (Lance Predmore), ant (Natasha Cordova), Darren (ryan francis) and Billy (aaron carlson), five college students on a road trip home together for the Thanksgiving holiday. Kristen is the last girl who is depicted without any personality. Johnny is a football star and male protagonist. Billy is our foul-mouthed hillbilly. Darren is a creepy nerd who inexplicably knows all the legends. And Ali is reduced to a rather outdated sexist caricature. Basically, they all fulfill the typical slasher archetype. But when a dog pees on an ancient totem pole and summons an evil, demonic turkey…well, a turkey.…Teenagers find themselves being chased by a terrifying being. Well, it’s kind of scary, like a wise bird doll.
This setup is followed by mysterious plot devices, such as a character who happens to have a book on how to stop a turkey murder, and two characters who are never even shown to be friends. A strange musical love ballad in between, and the strange thing is that there are three too many references. The JonBenét Ramsey incident. It feels like there’s a lot of craziness crammed into this one-hour movie (I’m not kidding). Tons of fun, budget and practical gore effectsoutrageous story choices and supernatural elements, and lots of SNL-A side character of the wind. This should go without saying, but it’s important to mention the movie’s straight jokes as well.

A24 gave us a horror movie like no other on Thanksgiving – you probably missed it
The film’s horror comes not from a passing pilgrim but from a claustrophobic family gathering.
The jokes are probably the weirdest thing about this movie. This movie is more about making jokes than it is about scaring you. Is the gag working? Yes…in a strange way. This movie has a very unique anti-humor that really works to its advantage. It helps the film maintain its almost surreal, intentionally weird nature. Many jokes certainly go too far in their offensive nature, which may understandably turn off some viewers. However, the tone of this movie is too over-the-top and very dated, so it’s hard to criticize it too harshly. This movie is more of an attempt at a full-fledged comedy than a horror movie. And despite all the bloodshed, it doesn’t genuinely try to scare you. Therefore, the question remains.thanksgiving Does it maintain its status as a cult classic after all these years?
