Dancing with the Stars Season 33 crowned a winning couple – and the winner…
Well, wait a minute. First, let’s take a look back at how we got here. This season saw eight weeks of competition leading up to Tuesday night’s finale.
Five couples participated in the finale. Here’s a list of celebrity and professional dancer pairings: former NFL players Danny Amendola and Whitney Carson, bachelorettes Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson, actresses Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, Olympic rugby players Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten, and Olympic gymnasts Steven Nedrosik and Riley Arnold.
Each couple donned ballroom dancing shoes and pirouetted around the stage in front of the judges.
Danny and Whitney finished 5th and had a tough night. Stephen and Riley took 4th place, and Chandler and Brandon took 3rd place.
This led to Jenna and Joey competing against Ilona and Alan to win the Mirrorball Trophy.
In the end, it was Joey and Jenna who took home the coveted statue.
After the big win, Joey said, “It means everything. This whole experience has been incredible. Thank you for sticking with me. I gave it my all, I promise!”
