Late last week, Sister Wives star Christine Brown and Kody Brown’s daughter Mykelti Brown strongly hinted (for the second time!) that there was something wrong with her family’s past.
She basically said that Meri Brown was abusive towards Kody during their marriage.
“There was a YouTuber who made a video that made me wonder if Meri was mentally, physically, or both abusive towards your father. That’s why he treated Meri the way he did. ,” the 28-year-old said in a Q&A video in November. twenty two.
This question seemed especially relevant over the weekend, as the most recent Sister Wives episode showed Kody dropping off Meri at her new home in Utah.
“I didn’t say anything,” Christine’s second eldest said after a stunned reaction… before saying much:
“No matter what I say to that, there’s probably going to be a problem… but if you think that and other people think that too, I think you guys probably won’t be too far off.” That’s all I want to say there.
I mean, I know there are 1.5 million YouTubers watching this, but I don’t want them to get in trouble for calling me. So that’s all I want to say. ”
But don’t you think that’s enough?
Especially when we get a flashback to January 2023, when Mykelti made similar allegations against Meri.
“I’m speaking about my own personal experience and opinion regarding Meri Brown. I don’t want to disrespect my brothers’ experiences with her,” Mykelti said in a Patreon video at the time, adding: Ta.
“I don’t remember Meri ever being physically abusive to me. She was very emotionally and verbally abusive to all of us when we were younger.”
Early last year, Paydon Brown said of Meri:
“Meri was not kind…Abrasive is not a good enough word to describe what Meri was, especially to some of us kids.”
Paydon, Christine and Kody’s son, offered few details, but added in a horrifying way:[d] Orally so far. Verbal basically ceased to exist. ”

Meanwhile, Christine and Kody’s other child, Gwendolyn Brown, also echoed her brother’s claims around the same time.
“[Meri] I was scared as a child, but she never attacked me and I only saw her get violent once,” Gwendolyn detailed many months ago. .
“There were times when I was rude and scary to Meri, but I don’t remember ever having sex with anyone other than Mykelti, and it only happened once.
“I believe everyone is entitled to a second chance…To be honest, I don’t know anything about saving someone’s life. She was disgusted more than anything. ”
As far as we know, Meri has never responded to these accusations.
Mykelti previously said Meri “is not and will never be a part of my life, my husband’s life, or my children’s life because of the trauma I experienced as a child.” Ta.
Meri and Kody broke up for good nearly two years ago.
“After more than a decade of working on our relationship in our own ways, we have made the decision to permanently end our marriage,” the couple said in a joint statement in January 2023.
