Of all the DreamWorks titles that have graced Netflix over the past decade, two series based on the classic Jurassic Park and sequel Jurassic World franchises have been by far the most popular. Unfortunately, this interactive special will be the first of three titles to leave Netflix in 2024, but don’t worry. It will take a while to watch the other two titles.
‘Camp Cretaceous: The Hidden Adventure’ to leave Netflix in December 2024
Unfortunately, the first Jurassic World content will be an interactive special that first premiered on Netflix on November 15, 2022. Set in the same story and world as the main series, it follows campers as they discover hidden attractions on Isla Nublar. This feature features the vocal talents of Paul-Mikell Williams, Jenna Ortega, and Bill Nighy.
The special will end well ahead of its original removal date as Netflix begins to scale back and discontinue its lineup of interactive specials. The company plans to stop producing new videos in 2023 and remove all but four on December 1, 2024. The deletion applies to Netflix worldwide.
This show will most likely be known as Lost Media, considering other streamers don’t have interactive features. On the bright side, a group called the “Interactive Netflix Archive Group” has decided to save linear versions (i.e., watch someone playthrough them) of titles set to be published on Archive.org. This is what we are working on. Since this is copyrighted material, I will not link it here.
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous main series will be available on Netflix until 2028
The good news is that only the interactive special is ending for now, and all five seasons of the main show will remain on Netflix until at least July 21, 2028, when the title’s license expires. That removal date is six years after the fifth and final season was added in 2021. The series then regained control of Universal Television, who would then license it to other providers.

Eventually, but not for a while. The show is only in its second season, but more seasons are expected to arrive in 2025 and beyond. As a result, we won’t know when Chaos Theory will leave Netflix until after its final season. camp cretaceous (Unfortunately, we have no inside information on this!).
