World’s oldest conjoined twins Loli & george chappelle According to his online obituary, he passed away.
The twins reportedly took their last breath at a hospital in Pennsylvania last Sunday.The exact cause of death has not been disclosed.
Lori and George were born in 1961. Parts of the skull are partially fused and share 30% of the brain, the parietal and frontal lobes.
Despite predictions that the twins would not live past age 30, they outperformed the odds by more than twice that.
The two pursued their interests despite obvious physical problems. Unable to walk and pushed around in a wheelchair by Lori, George pursued a career as a country singer while Lori won trophies for bowling.
George’s original name is streetHe actually came out as a transgender man in 2007 and gave his name. Reba — he gave this nickname to George because he didn’t like rhyming names.
This made them the first same-sex conjoined twins to be recognized as different genders.
Lori and George lived together in a two-bedroom apartment in Pennsylvania. We took turns spending the night in each room, trying to live as independently as possible.
The two appeared together on numerous shows, including “Jerry Springer,” “The Maury Povich Show,” and “The Howard Stern Radio Show,” and a documentary was also made.
Lori and George are survived by their father, six siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.
They were 62 years old.
