Khalid I just confirmed he is gay…he came out after claiming he was outed.
The R&B hitmaker posted a rainbow flag emoji on his X account Friday night, adding, “Here you go. What’s next? LOL.”
Khalid’s tweet came after another singer appeared to slam him on social media…and fans were quick to reply to Khalid’s post.
One reaction prompted Khalid to reveal…someone replied, “I hope Mr. Khalid isn’t a gehaha!” And Khalid tweeted, declaring, “I am! And that’s okay.”
Khalid went on to post, explaining… “I’ve been accused and the world still keeps spinning. Let’s be clear (LOL) I’m not ashamed of my sexuality! In fact, it’s no one’s business. But I’m fine with you. ”
Khalid appears to be referring to a series of posts by the singer that have since been deleted. Hugo D. Almonte …Almonte reportedly ejected Khalid.
Most of the people in the comments were supportive, with some saying it wasn’t a huge shock… Some even cited his 2022 song “Satellite” as an LGBTQ anthem. ”
Khalid admitted as much, adding… “I wasn’t hiding anything! It’s just none of your business.”
