Matty has been working closely with Olympia and their relationship has developed. In upcoming episodes, they learn more about each other and develop a new appreciation for each other. Skye P. Marshall The actress, who plays Olympia Lawrence, told TV Line all about the show. She also teased what Olympia’s reaction to that secret would be. Marshall indicated how Olympia would react, saying:
“How will she react? I think it’s going to be Jekyll and Hyde. Given their relationship, I think she’ll try her best to understand. And maybe she’ll be very heartbroken because of their relationship.” I will.”
Why Olympia’s reaction is different than expected
The reaction Marshall teased doesn’t seem like one anyone would expect, but it’s not surprising given how much the duo has learned about each other. There will be changes throughout the season that could affect Olympia’s response. The walls that Matty had built when she first came to the company are slowly coming down as she learns more about the older woman. Even as Matty gets to know Olympia better, he discovers nothing about her.
In Episode 6, “The 16 Steps,” the team takes on the case of a couple who lost their child because an infant formula company ignored safety procedures and sold contaminated formula. This incident puts Olympia in a difficult position as a mother. “We explore the fear of losing one of your children as we watch Madeline recover from this grief, which never heals and never will. “Can we do that?” Marshall said. This fear allows her to understand Matti better, and she will be on his side if his secret is exposed. Marshall also teased Olympia’s move from Big Pharma to civil litigation, something Matti would be happy to say.
“She was done with big pharma. She wanted to do something special by representing a very specific demographic that couldn’t afford it but needed her skill set. .That way, you can make it rain by getting huge damages through lawsuits that are class action lawsuits. “
These comments make it clear that Olympia and Matti have more in common than they think, which will inform Olympia’s reaction. After all, she must have seen something in Big Pharma that didn’t align with her values and decided to focus on shutting the company down once and for all through a class action lawsuit. Matty is trying to hit the law firm where it hurts the most. They have more in common than they know.
