It’s always the unexpected that hurts the most.
Former One Direction member and beloved pop star Liam Payne has died.
He was only 31 years old.
Information is still coming in, but it appears his cause of death was a tragic accident.
And now, the entire music-loving world is mourning one of its brightest stars, who passed away at a young age.
Liam Payne cause of death
Liam was reportedly found dead on Wednesday, October 16th. Liam reportedly died after falling from a hotel balcony while staying in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He lived on the third floor,
Argentine daily La Nación reported that a staff member at Hotel Casa Sur called police before the incident to report an “aggressive man who may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.” Ta.
Alberto Crescenti, director of the state’s emergency medical system, told the publication:
“We received a report of people in the courtyard of the Casa Sur Hotel. [First responders] Upon arrival, the man was confirmed dead. Later I found out that he was a singer in a music group. Unfortunately, he had sustained non-life-sustaining injuries from the fall and had to be pronounced dead. There was zero chance of resuscitation.”
Crescenti said he would wait for the autopsy report, but noted that Payne “appeared to have suffered a skull fracture and was very seriously injured.”
Liam Payne’s legacy
Liam rose to fame as part of One Direction, a pop group formed by Simon Cowell. X Factor UK 2010 Season 7.
He has performed with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn, who left the band in 2015.
Liam went on to have a decent solo career. hE released his debut solo album “LP1” in 2019. In March 2024, Liam released his LP Teardrops.
He was also happy in his personal life. He had a son with singer Cheryl Cole in 2017, but at the time of his death he was dating Kate Cassidy.
In the star’s last Snapchat post, she looked happy as she posed in a mirror with a bikini-clad girl.
