Vice President Kamala Harris will return to CBS’s “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” marking the Democratic presidential candidate’s first late-night interview since winning the nomination in August. Harris will appear on “The Late Show” this Tuesday, October 8th (airing weeknights at 11:35pm ET).
According to CBS, Harris’ appearance on Tuesday will be her seventh time co-starring with Colbert on “The Late Show,” most recently on March 15, 2023. Harris first appeared on April 19, 2018, when she was a senator from California.
Harris’ appearance on “The Late Show” comes the night after her running mate, Minnesota governor and Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, is scheduled to be a guest on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Appear. Waltz’s booking for Monday, Oct. 7 will be his first late-night appearance.
Meanwhile, both Harris and Walz are scheduled to appear on Monday’s prime-time election special, “60 Minutes.” In this one-hour edition, airing Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. ET, correspondent Bill Whitaker joins the Democratic campaign and provides an in-depth look at Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Also on “60 Minutes,” the show’s Scott Pelley will talk about “Why former President Donald Trump and Republican candidates for U.S. Sen. J.D. Vance are not participating in “60 Minutes” interviews for this election special.” That’s what he said on “60 Minutes.”
