The famous haunted house from “Poltergeist” is back as a short-term rental after a recent sale.
Christian Melgar and right amily Coldwell Banker Realty’s Westlake Village tells TMZ … A home in Simi Valley, Calif., sold Friday for $1.28 million, $100,000 above the asking price.
We hear the new owners are investors from Los Gatos, California…and they plan to turn the house into an Airbnb that recreates the actual “Poltergeist” movie set.
In other words, each room will be furnished and decorated to recreate the space exactly as seen in the movie.
Halloween is just around the corner and horror movie fans will be lining up to rent the place, but they’re told the house won’t be ready in time…the owners aren’t rushing things to make it perfect. Because we want to.
So maybe next year.
