Why did Diddy need so much baby oil?
We’re all still reeling from the gory details of Diddy’s indictment.
Some of the most salacious elements of Diddy’s federal case have been highlighted.
Reported Over 1,000 bottles of baby oil This has been particularly attention-grabbing, but Diddy’s lawyers claim it’s not malicious.
Authorities found a large amount of baby oil during a search of Didi’s property.
Investigators searched Diddy’s homes in Beverly Hills and Miami and found numerous items related to the sex trafficking and extortion allegations.
Four-figure amounts of baby oil and personal lubricant have attracted attention, with Diddy’s lawyers arguing to multiple media outlets that the amounts have been exaggerated and that he is completely innocent.
“I don’t know where the number 1,000 came from. [from]Attorney Mark Anifilo said: TMZ“I can’t even imagine Thousands.”
In various interviews, including with the New York Post, Mark Anifilo has claimed that Diddy was simply buying in bulk. He points out that Costco, a popular place for bulk buying, is located near most of Diddy’s residences.
Buying in bulk is a natural part of American culture. But 1,000 bottles of lubricant to be used in (presumably unwanted) sexual acts… a bit It’s not like a six month supply of mustard or a four month supply of toilet paper.
But Anifilo reiterates that people are becoming “tough” on didis. He maintains that these were tools for consensual sex between adults.
Are people just being germophobic about Diddy’s strategic baby oil stockpiling? (No)
In contrast to Agnifilo’s characterization of the sexual acts as “consensual,” the indictment paints a very different picture.
Didi is accused of forcing the woman into prolonged sexual acts “through force, threats of violence and coercion.”
It’s true that ascetic and sex-negative thinking is pervasive in our society, but the indictment makes clear that this is not a federal issue. Womanizer Diddy. The indictment includes numerous Victims.
On a related note, it’s worth looking at other items found by investigators. Baby oil and lubricant are easy to explain… a little bit …despite the large quantity.
According to the indictment, Diddy’s alleged victims were left dehydrated, exhausted and in need of intravenous drips after being forced to perform non-consensual acts and given drugs (which were allegedly used to make the victims submissive at the time, and the recordings were apparently kept as blackmail material).
Sometimes people need help recovering from their own excesses — partying too hard, in any sense of the word. That’s not what was happening here, authorities say, adding another layer of horror to an already frightening situation.
