Alan Ritchson has the look, age, and vibe to play James Gunn’s DCU Batman. Alan Ritchson had already played a pseudo-Caped Crusader, and in Titans he was Hawk, caring for Dark Robin. Alan Ritchson has a smaller name, which takes pressure off his role in a way that worked well for Gunn and Chris Pratt.
There’s no doubt that James Gunn’s DCU is getting a lot of attention. With Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom officially wrapping up Dceu, fans are as interested as ever to see what casting plans Gunn and his team will implement.
