NCIS Star Brian Dietzen expressed optimism about the show’s future. Dietzen has played Dr. Jimmy Palmer of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service since the first season of the crime drama, which premiered on CBS in 2003. The show has since expanded to include various spin-offs set in different regions, including Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Hawaii. His 1,000th episode of the entire ‘I, And Sydney’ series is set to air as part of the ongoing show. NCIS Season 21 begins April 15th.

But since we moved, our fans – I shouldn’t be surprised, I’m still surprised – are following us and saying, ‘No, we keep seeing this and this is still here. I’m really happy that he said, “I’m going to make sure.” I think it was last year, we were the most-watched scripted show on television and we were still on the other side of Monday Night Football. I think everyone understands how blessed we are on that set.
