Authorities on Thursday asked for the public’s help in locating a second suspect in connection with a West Hollywood assault.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, at approximately 1:20 a.m. on February 15, deputies responded to the 7300 block of Santa Monica Boulevard for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.
Sheriff’s officials said the assault stemmed from an argument between the victim and two male suspects.
“Officers with the West Hollywood Police Department located a suspect and arrested him on suspicion of assault,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement. “The second suspect remains unsolved and has not yet been identified.”
Sheriff’s officials describe the suspect as a man, 5 feet 10 inches tall, in his 30s or 40s, and weighing 190 pounds.
The name of the first suspect has not been released.
