New Delhi: Actor Arjun Rampal, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action film ‘Crack’, says he never left the silver screen. He said the reason for his limited presence on the big screen is that actors have become very selective about what they cover.
Arjun’s last Hindi film role was in Dhaakad, where he played a villain who locks horns with Kangana Ranaut’s Agent Agni.
This time, Arjun will be seen opposite Vidyut Jamwal in ‘Krack’ and the former is playing the role of the antagonist in the film. The film also stars Nora Fatehi and Amy Jackson.
On Friday, he spoke to the media about his “return” to the silver screen with the Hindi film “Rock On!!” The actor said, “I’ve never left, I’m always here. However, hasty decisions often don’t work out, so I choose my films carefully. I want to make sure it connects with the audience and I need to be fully committed to the script and the characters in order to portray a good performance.”
He also talked about playing the villain in his next movie: Finding that feeling is very important to me. My team and I spent many days understanding the philosophy of this character. I’m very happy with how it turned out and I hope the audience loves the film and my character as well. ”
Produced by Vidyut Jammwal & Action Hero Films and written and directed by Aditya Datt, the film is scheduled to hit theaters on February 23, 2024.
